The 3rd Amendment to the Lochmeade HOA Covenant, Conditions, and Restrictions (CCR) are now on the website (click HERE). They are displayed below the current display of the CCR.
Welcome to 2019
As houses are beginning to be constructed in Lochmeade Phase III, many people are driving through our community deciding whether the Lochmeade community will be their new home. We welcome everyone to drive through, take a look, see our beautiful lake and walking trail. It’s such a beautiful community and we know future homeowners will think so, too!
Please check out the Lochmeade Covenant which lists the rules and regulations for building. All you have to do is click on “Covenant“. The annual Homeowners Association fee is $650. as of 2019. The HOA fee helps us maintain all the grounds, lighting, fountain, and lake.
We’d love to have YOU as our new neighbor!
2018 Lochmeade Homeowners Association Annual Meeting
Hello again, neighbors. The first Tuesday in April is approaching which means it’s almost time for the Lochmeade HOA Annual Meeting. This year our meeting will be April 3rd at 6 pm in the Board Room of Atoka Town Hall. Here are some of the topics we plan to discuss:
- Development of the old Lochmeade Phase 3 will probably begin this year and we have offered the new owner the opportunity to develop the property as a part of Lochmeade.
- Our wall that fell into the lake will be repaired once the rainy season ends. The lake will have to be drained about 4 feet for a foundation to be poured. Erosion damages around the stone storm drains into the lake will be addressed as well.
- We have changed insurance companies. We are now using State Farm because we feel it better suits our needs.
- The fountain repairs this past year were necessitated by fishing lines damaging the pump. Our campaign to stop illegal fishing reduced the number of these fishermen by about 80%. Keep up the good work!
- Town officials have agreed to attend the meeting to answer questions that pertain to the city like garbage pickup, street repaving, etc.
The annual meeting is a chance for us to meet and greet each other, and to discuss any issues you deem important. If we have a quorum we will elect a new Board of Directors. This is our neighborhood; this is our association. Hope to see you all at Atoka Town Hall on April 3rd. Official notifications of the meeting will be mailed in March.
YOUR LOCHMEADE HOA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
New School Year
The Lochmeade community wishes all students, teachers, and staff an exciting new school year filled with learning and fun activities. This time of year always brings new changes in the lives of so many children and parents.
As you travel the streets of Lochmeade, please remember that our speed limit is 20 mph throughout the entire subdivision. Please use caution while driving and be on the lookout for children that may be in the street when catching their bus or after school while playing.
Have a wonderful school year!
Memorial Day 2017
Thank you is not enough for all the members of our armed forces who have given their lives in service to America, the greatest country in the world. Without the men and women giving their service and lives for our freedoms, citizens wouldn’t be able to live life in such a fulfilling way. We should all take a moment today to be thankful for the men and women of our military, who have given the ultimate sacrifice…their lives.
Daylight Savings Time March 12, 2017
Daylight Savings Time begins at approximately 2:00 AM on Sunday morning, March 12, 2017. You’ll probably want to set your clocks ahead one hour before you go to bed on Saturday night to insure you aren’t late for Sunday morning church services or other events you have planned.
Enjoy the Springtime and the extra hour of daylight we will gain each day! Lochmeade is always very beautiful in the Spring!
Is It Really That Time Again?
Summer has flown by and now it’s time for our children and teenagers to start back to school. For some children it’s a time of excitement and fun, and for others it’s a time of angst and the challenge of being away from Mom. Teenagers are approaching adulthood and making decisions about their education that could possibly affect the rest of their lives.
Our Lochmeade Community wishes the very best for all the children and teenagers, as they start this new school year.
We are asking all residents to please remember that our speed limit in the Lochmeade neighborhood is 20 MPH. There will be school buses coming through the subdivision and children will be running to catch the bus, so please use caution. Please do your part to keep the neighborhood safe for all our children.
Message from Lochmeade HOA Board of Directors
In this current political environment we’re probably due a “Lochmeade HOA State of the Association Address.”
Here goes:
First, a brief history lesson. Allan Rose began development of the Lochmeade Subdivision over 10 years ago and as lots sold he turned over administration of Lochmeade to the residents in January, 2015. Allan initially set annual HOA fees at $450 to cover normal operating expenses.
In 2015 we elected our first Homeowners Association (HOA) Board of Directors. [Read more…]
