Tipton County Schools’ students begin the 2014-2015 school year with a half day on August 4, 2014, being dismissed at 11:30 a.m. The first full day of classes will be on August 7th. Tipton-Rosemark Academy starts classes on August 8, 2014 with students being dismissed at 11:30 a.m. Tipton Christian Academy is located at First Baptist Church, Covington, TN and educates students from Preschool through 7th grade and TCA follows the Tipton Country Schools’ calendar. We wish all students an exciting and productive year, as they learn new things and make new friends.
Please pay close attention to the 20 mph speed limit throughout the Lochmeade neighborhood as children are getting on and off their school buses. We wouldn’t want to see an accident caused by someone speeding through our community.
